We’re so incredibly proud to announce that as of today, Mindy is now a full time part of BRAUNphotography!!! Today is our 5th wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate! This is a HUGE goal that we’ve been working toward for a few years now, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. God has blessed us with some of the best clients in the world, and with so many friends and family that support us and believe in what we’re doing. Thank you.

We can’t wait to see what 2012 will bring! Holden gets to have his mommy home, Cameron gets to have his honey home, and with our powers combined, we think we’re can create something truly special, both for our family and for wedding photography in the midwest.

This has to go down as one of our favorite sessions ever. Lara + Joel had us come to Chicago (where Joel lives currently), to get some shots of them… well, in their natural habitat you could say. First of all, we absolutely love traveling, and Chicago is one of our favorite cities to visit. But even more than that, we love it when our engagement sessions are all about capturing our couples doing what they love to do. Anyone can take artistic looking pictures at sunset in a field, but it’s another thing all together when we get to highlight individual personalities and tell a story with our images. We love shooting “you,” in whatever form that means.

We hope you guys enjoy these as much as we loved being there and shooting them. Can’t wait to do a wedding in Chicago someday!
